Do we need to change our existing providers?

No, with Amba’s Lumina platform we will connect with all of your existing benefit providers and put them into the system. If you then want to change or look around for different providers and benefits, our team can support with this.

We’re not looking to change any of our benefits but want to increase engagement, is that possible?

Absolutely, we aren’t going to ‘sell’ you anything you don’t want. We act as a go to partner for our clients to explore the different benefits that are available across the UK, if there is something new you want to discuss with the team, then we’re here to support that.

Can we have it so people only see the benefits that are for them?

Yes, each employee can choose the benefits that are right for them, within what you have allowed them to have, which we can set up when we are building Lumina for you.

How long does it take to get started?

We can get everything moving within a few days, building the platform for you will depend on how many people you have and how many providers we have to liaise with, usually 4-8 weeks but it can be quicker.

Can we customise the platform to our branding?

Yes

Can we connect Lumina with our existing HR platform?

If there is an API between our platform and your HR system then yes, we would however want to explore what you were looking to gain from such a link as they can be costly and take a lot of time to put together for (often) not a lot of benefit.

Do we all get trained on how to use the platform

Yes. What we'll do is offer a full demo and webinar to you and your team when we kick off, that demo will be recorded and sent to you so if any of your team can't make it they can watch it later. You can also use that video for any new employees. Lumina is built and designed to be simple to use though so we generally find that even without training, people find their way around it perfectly well.

What support is included?

We offer dedicated account manager support for you and your business to understand the usage of Lumina throughout your time with us. We also offer total support to all of your employees to ask questions around the benefits they have. We become your outsourced partner for everything benefits, saving you time in answering the same questions to inquisitive employees.

How do I get started?

If you complete the 'request a demo' link at the top of the page, that'll then prompt you to book some time into Sam's diary to have an initial discussion about what you're after and what you want to achieve. Really easy!

How do I redeem a discount?

Our providers have different ways of applying a discount. Most use a discount code that you can copy, from the perk pop up, and paste once you reach check out. But some use a tracking link. Make sure you check the provider description so you don’t miss out on the great offers!

I'm having trouble logging in

Email
Your account would have been set up using your work email. Use this to log in unless specified otherwise, by us or your employer.

Password
You should receive an email asking you to set your password. If you can not find this email, or the link has expired please contact Support@lumina-uk.com. If you forget your password, simply click the ‘RESET’ button under ‘Forgotten your password?’.

Why can't I change my account details?

Your details are provided by your place of work. If something is incorrect please speak to your employer.

Multi Factor Authentication FAQs

How do I set up MFA on Lumina?

Setting up MFA involves adding your Lumina account into an authenticator app by scanning a QR code. We have a detailed guide to help you with this, which you can find at the top of this page.

Will I be prompted for this code every single time I log in to Lumina? Even on the same day?

No, but this depends a little on how often you log into your Lumina account and if you change devices to log in with.

If you log into your account infrequently e.g. once a week then it’s likely you will be prompted each time, whereas if you log in 2-3 times a week you will likely only receive one challenge per week.

We may also ask you for a challenge if we don’t recognise the device that you use to log in. If you are an Lumina Admin user, you will be challenged more often as you will have access to further sensitive information.
